How can I get this webcam to work on my Yahoo Messenger?

I have an EasyCam webcamera that I found lying around and I don't know how to make it work through my Yahoo Messenger webcam chat. I've tried installing it into my computer first, but every time I do it says that it can't find any services to install it, so now I'm just at a loss. I'd love it if someone could help me. (No, I have no manuals or a box that it came in, just a tag on the cord saying EasyCam.) Surely there's got to be a way.
