How secure is yahoo messenger cam?

Are 2000 and Vista incompatible using yahoo messenger with a cam? Cam on 2000 comp always cuts out?

  • Sometimes the connection works fine. But other times we can only connect with the cam for maybe 20 or 30 seconds. Messenger works fine but the cam always freezes on his end. It never happens on my computer using Vista. Is Vista just incompatible with Windows 2000 running trying to use a cam? What can we do? There is no firewall problem on either end.
