Is Yahoo removing adult profiles?

I search for people on yahoo and some of the profiles come up as adult profiles-i am 18 what is the problem?

  • I like finding new people on yahoo by searching within there search site. But since I have turned 18 almost a year ago now, yahoo still says on some of the profiles that I am under 18 and that I am not able to view these. What can i do to fix this?

    When you created your account you were asked to supply a birth date. Yahoo! uses this birth date to determine your age, they do NOT use the age you have put on your profile. If you put an incorrect birth date on your account when you created it then there is nothing you can do to fix that. Your birth date can not change therefore Yahoo! has provided no way to edit it. That's also a security issue which is the main reason why they don't allow changes to it or even display it. There is no way you can view adult content with that ID until the date of your 18th birthday according to whatever birthdate you provided to Yahoo!.

ok firts of all not all of then are pornographic and some don't even have a picture on then. what happens is that ur age doesn't update by itself .so u need to go to ur profiles and change it by urself . ok u need to open the messanger on the top left corner click on messanger u will c my status look down u will c my profiles click on it now select the profile u need and then click edit the profile will open click on the top for edit profile imformation now change ur age and on the bottom click save chages note whenever u fix this problem and u open one of this profiles it will still say this is an adult profile whan that happens u just need to say u accept and it may ask for ur password.
