How to remove someone completely from the Gmail list?

How can i remove myself from someone's Y!Messenger's list? ***Please read through!***?

• i already asked them to remove me, and that i don't want them to see my profile updates through my contact link on their Y!Messenger friends list for instance i don't want them to see my buzz ups or comments or new contacts etc etc... they refused to do so (to remove me), how can i remove MYSELF??? please notice the id of that contact i'm avoiding is a "@ymai.com" and not a "@yahoo.com".

  I think the only thing you can do is to ignore and block them but that doesn't remove your ID from their lists! ------------ Edit : Go to your Mail options part and then change the settings as you want. Under "General" or "Spam" part there are some options that you can set. General ------> Updates / Share My Updates Spam --------> Block Email Addresses I'm not exactly sure about the result but you can check it with another contact in your list too see if it works they way you want!
