How can I be able to see instant messages?

Why can't I see my received and sent instant messages on messenger?

  • I can see notification of when someone is typing,coming on and offline, and also I can get my offline messages. I just can't see the instant messages that I've typed once I press send. I can't see the received instant message either but I can notification that they are typing.

    I have been having the same problems, on a mac machine.

Click on tools,internet options,security tab,custom level.Scroll down till you see scripting.Active scripting,allow paste operations via script and scripting of java applets are all enabled.Close open IM window's and reopen.
