How can I get the games in my Yahoo instant messenger to work?

I can't get games to work on Yahoo Messenger when chatting. Suggestions?

My daughter and I tried last night and all I got was a box with a red X. I have downloaded the latest versions of Yahoo Messenger and Java and even disabled pop-up blockers and one of my firewalls but nothing has helped.

Un-install then re-install Yahoo Messenger! (The same thing was happening to me about 2 months ago. Doing so solved my problem): Click on: Start Click on: Control Panel Click on: Add/Remove programs Remove: Yahoo Messenger Upload and install Yahoo Messenger: http://messenger.yahoo.com (You will NOT lose your contacts as they will automatically add during the installation process!) To eliminate unnecessary programs from starting up and running in the background and ultimately draining your systems resources, download Tuneup Utilities 2007 which has a Start-up Manager Utility: http://www.download.com/3000-2094_4-10698444.html
