I have messenger for OSX and I do not have chat avaiable in my menu. How do I get yahoo chat into my messenger

I have 3.0 beta and 2.5.3 and neither one has chat in the menu. I used to be able to chat from a mac years ago. Is this now only available for PC users?

Chat isn't available using Yahoo! Messenger for Mac right now. Currently the best option is to use an unofficial client like "Charla" at http://ridiculousfish.com/temp/Charla4.zip
