What happened to launchcast radio?

Alternative to my launchcast radio?

• We've all agreed that it stinks that CBS have taken over launchcast and disabled user-selectable, semi-random, internet radio content in the form of 'my launchcast radio'. I'll add my voice to that. I had been enjoying this service since (almost) the dawn of the internet when Sonic radio got started - about 12 years ago. I had rated thousands of artists, songs and albums and discovered much wonderful music in the process. It seems like an old friend suddenly walked in front of a bus. Thanks CBS! So ... take a deep breath ... does anyone know any other services like this?

  I absolutely agree. The sense of shock and bewilderment isn't (obviously) as severe as if an old friend walked in front of a bus precisely but it's something like it. I spend a fair amount of my income on music and legal music downloads and I never would've heard of Horse Feathers, Fiona Apple, Cat Power or Great Lakes Myth Society amongst many others, without Launchcast queuing them up for me. I would use Pandora but it's not available where I am, in Norway. This is making me sad. If anyone has any alternatives to Pandora that are available in Norway, shout out please.
