How do I change my avatar?

I'm trying to change my avatar, but when I click on the 'update photo or avatar' button I can't find out how to get onto the avatar bit, instead it's just letting me upload photos. So how can I change my avatar, without using a photo? Thanks (:

Click "My Activity" at top of page Select "Edit My Preferences" Click "Update photo or avatar" Follow instructions to select your photo/avatar Click "Submit" on bottom of original page when done To make a carton avatar: http://avatar.yahoo.com Make sure your pulse profile is not hidden. :o)
