Why is it i cant get into chat rooms?

why cant i get into the chat rooms?? I go into chat from the main menu, and a new yahoo messenger comes up, so i downloaded it, and i still cant get into chat
Answer:

You will have to be at least 18 to get into them. Sign into Messenger and click on Messenger in the menu bar and go down to where it says Yahoo! Chat.

You could consider uninstall your current Yahoo! Messenger and download from http://www.filehippo.com/download_yahoo_messenger/. The latest version is Yahoo! Messenger 8.1.0.195. You could also find a list of previous versions of Yahoo! Messenger on the right panel.

You have to download Messenger first then you sign into chat that way. Its different then before. But Its the same once you log into Messenger. Good luck....
