Sorry M L But you are wrong, all that does is edit the name that will show up in a chat room. To actually change the name that goes in out going emails you need to go to your email page and in the upper right corner click on Options then on Mail Options. GO to General Preferences and at the top of the next page you Edit your name there for all out going emails. Name and Email From name:(your name here) This name will appear on the From line of outgoing mail.

look up at the top of this page where you see your name. click on "my account", put in your password. that should take you to your account/profile where you can change anything you want by clicking on the "edit" button. hope this helps, good luck
