How do I change my screen name on yahoo messenger?

I have yahoo messenger, and i dont know how to change my screen name. help, please?

  Try this.Click messenger top left in the messenger window. scroll down and click my contact details. make your changes, click save and close. If that doesn't work:Click on options just to the right above your mailbox. In the next window click general preferences. You will see where to change your name, do that then scroll to the bottom and click save
