Where are all my contacts on MSN?

Using Yahoo Messenger, how can I chat with ONLY my yahoo contacts. I DON'T want my MSN contacts to show up.

  • I use both Yahoo Messenger & MSN Live Chat. When I use my Yahoo Messenger I ONLY want my Yahoo contacts to show up. Unfortunately, now all my MSN Live contacts show up as well. Is there a way to limit my Yahoo Chat to my Yahoo contacts? Or must I delete the MSN contacts 1 by 1???

    The only way you can edit who shows up on your list is whether or not you want people who are offline to show up or not. If you don't want people who are offline to show up on your list you need to click on Contacts at the top and then Uncheck the Show Offline Contacts Otherwise if you don't want someone to show on your list you will need to delete them. That would be a nice option for Yahoo to give us, to have our MSN friends to be separated from our yahoo contacts and being able to have them show on our list or not.

You can go to each name and set the status to 'always appear offline'. Or yes, you would have to delete them.
