Where are the YM archives stored on my computer?

I don't want Messenger Archives stored on my computer, how do I stop that?

I don't want Messenger Archives stored on my computer. I have recently installed yahoo messenger on a computer i am using and I found out that the Messenger Archives are all stored on here. I went to My Computer/C:/Program Files/Yahoo/Messenger/ and in there is a nice little file called PROFILES. After discovering that the yahoo name , user name is listed in there, I of course deleted it, and the PROFILES folder. I came to this computer this afternoon , LUCKILY no one else has used it since i installed yahoo messenger (i would have been soooooo Embarrassed!) I opened it up and signed in. I had My Computer/C:drive/Program Files/Yahoo/Messenger/Profiles link already open because I was curious if DELETING the info worked, Yes it, did, MOMENTARILY, i watched it as Messenger opened and signed in after i entered password, the profiles folder reappeared into My Computer/C:drive/Program Files/Yahoo/Messenger/Profiles/profile then I opened that again and WOW, there it is, my messenger name and stuff like that. HOW do I stop that?
Answer:

open messenger at top click on word messenger.on options select do not save archives.
