How do I change the contact name in MSN?

I edit my account but it shows previous name in contact details for whom added me before this change, why ?

• i edit my account and change my last name , the users whom add me now (add after editing) see my new last name in my id's contact details , it's ok , but is still remains my previous last name in user's messenger whom added me before this change (added before editing) , i mean when they see my contact details it still shows that previous last name , what can i do ? ( i know that they can change in their messenger by themselves but i don't want say them to do this)

  open your messenger click messenger tab click my contact details clear out all names and nickname enter the name which you want others to see, leaving all others spaces blank REMEMEBER click save and close this should make your changes shown rightly
