Why won't my Yahoo avatar picture change?

My photo on yahoo messenger will not let me change it to another picture It only sets on one picture or avatar?

I have pictures stored to change my picture besides my avatar on yahoo messenger. I can only use my avatar or the picture thats on there of me. It will not let me change my picture. No matter how many times I try it goes back to the same picture. Please help me.

I had a similar question, and my search told me that the answer to your question is a problem with timing and impatience. The avatars are not changed immediately, it may even take roughly 24 hours, but they do change.
