How can you import contacts from Yahoo Messenger to Windows Live Messenger?

How do I copy my Yahoo! contacts into Windows Live Messenger?

I have used Yahoo! messenger for years, but now I have to switch to using Windows Live Messenger. I have a lot of yahoo contacts, and it would take forever to add them all one by one. I know it is possible to import contacts into Yahoo!, but I have not been able to figure out how to do it in Windows Live Messenger. Is this possible? Can anyone tell me how to do it?

Windows live messenger and Yahoo instant messenger are two diffrent entities and you will have to enter manualy your contact with live messenger...also you can import contacts from the action menu of windows live messenger...they will import your contacts you have listed now in your home page contact listing....by the way.....why did you switch...the Yahoo messenger is one of the best IM programs available...I had problems with live messenger...to much time to set up.
