Deleted contacts?

i am instant messenger at my house, but right now i am at my grandama's hosue, upnorth. i am trying to sign into msn and once i do, all my contacts were deleted!! why? why? why? i even added all those ppls agian but they didnt' get the invite. ik cuz i tryed adding myself and nothing happened! most of the time, it adds myself onto the contacts list atuomaticly! wat's up wtih that?!!!
