How to remove a mobile number from yahoo messenger (sign into )?

In yahoo messenger...we can register our mobile numbers so that we can know about our friends , when they come online....but the mobile number we register was placed in a messenger tab like "sign into 1234567891"....so how one can erase his mobile number from the messenger window in cases of his distaste of mentioning his number in the messenger tab and in case if he changes his mobile number ...what can he do to change it?.

Follow this path to solve ur problem. Click on messenger> prefrences> general > edit mobile device> next window will guide u further to edit ur mobile device.
