I am unable to view even the response of the person with whom i am chatting with. I have enabled all the java scripting options as well. p.s. I do not use windows explorer, as it is giving me problems.

Are you using yahoo msgr 7.5 beta? It was a shitty version with lot of funny things happening. Download the latest version 8 from the yahoo messenger website. Should solve the issue.
