Why will it not let me edit my ignore list in Messenger 8? I cannot add or remove names on the list.?

I can remove names from my ignor list, or add them. But when I restart messenger, the added names are no longer there. And any names I removed from ignore are back on the ignore list. Why?

Answer:
When you finish adding and subtracting names from the list, go to the bottom of the page and click "Apply"
