How can i change my messenger id?

how can i change my id because i have a different id on my messsenger. i would like to change back to my previous id but the new id wont even show up when i try to edit my profile

My question is, did you delete the previous ID? Usually all ID's on one account will show up, unless they have been deleted. If you go to your account information, you are allowed to have 6 ID's on ONE account. If you create a NEW account, those are NOT connected to your old account. If you go to you account information, and you do NOT see that original name listed, then it has been deleted. Just create a NEW profile/alias ID on that account.
