How can I change my display image on Yahoo Messenger?

Why can't I change my display image on yahoo messenger?

I will not let me change it to show my avatar. When I click on"change my display image" .. a box shows up , telling me that ..something is not available offline?! And then I am taken to a microsoft/internet page? What is going on here, everything was fine until I changed my yahoo ID. And now I can't use my avatar on yahoo messenger ~ does anyone know why ?
Answer:

This is a current glitch with yahoo messenger. That happens to me also. Sometimes it changes and sometimes it don't. Sometimes I need to log out then back in a few times before it does what i want.So be patient.

Download ccleaner and give it a couple of runs include 'registry' from left hand toolbar. Do not be alarmed by the amount of files you have to delete - especially if you do not clean out your browser on a regular basis. http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/
