How do I change my name on Messenger?

How to change my full name in y! messenger.?

i had been trying to change my account information in the yahoo mail and also in yahoo messenger, but i am not able to change it. Actually i had given some name in the account information at the time of creating the ID, but that is not what i wanted to have my name as, so i am trying to change the display name of messenger and also in the mail. kindly assist me on this...

If you change your name in My Account Info, it will be changed across all yahoo services. To access My Account Info you click Messenger menu at the top of YM and choose My Account Info. If you do not have it set to automatically sign you into yahoo pages then you will need to sign in here. Be sure to save your changes. --------- I am almost positive that this will also change your name in mail but just in case it doesn't click Options-Mail options upper right of your yahoo mail and on the General category you can type in your "From name."
