How do I change my default email address?

How can i change the default email address in IM?

  • When in IM and send a reg email, it defaults to my private, nonYahoo email acct. I want to change that so default to my Yahoo email acct. if possible. thanks

what IM are you using? Yahoo Instant Messenger? did you set your email to be received on a non-yahoo mail address? if yes, reset your setting. and inside the messenger box, click "Preferences > General > tick the box that says [Open web links in a new browser window] and tick the box also that says [Automatically sign me in when I click a Yahoo! link in Messenger] and then click OK. log out and close the messenger. restart your PC and log in again.
