Can I change my default font for all emails on Yahoo Classic?

I can't change the default font to the one I want in Yahoo Messenger?

  • When I got the messenger>preferences>Appearance>Change Fonts and Colors box, the font I want will not show up. It's Adobe Caslon Pro (Or Adobe Caslon Pro Bold) Any idea why I am unable to choose the font I want for it? Thanks for any help :)

    If it is a font that you downloaded, you first have to install it into the Windows Font Folder. This folder is located in the Control Panel. Just drag and drop it into that folder. Exit Yahoo Messenger and relaunch it, now you should see it as an option. But Please Note: Nobody will be able see your custom font if they do not also have it installed. They will just see a default font like arial. Since I do a lot of digital art and graphics, I have a lot of custom fonts I have installed but I do not use them for chat because no one would see them.

There is no way for you to fix it. Yahoo is working on the site. This has happened before and they always fix it. Do not install or uninstall any Yahoo programs. Yahoo knows about this problem. Thousands of users are reporting this same thing. You will get your font back.
