How can i close my address book on my messenger?

How do i save my contacts and address book , when i want to close my messenger and open up a new messenger?

    You do not have to close one Yahoo account before you open up another. And if you want to download a newer version of Yahoo Messenger, you do not lose your contacts, email or Yahoo ID. OK sorry but your question is rather confusing. If you do end up opening up a new Yahoo Account, you can use TrueSwitch to transfer your email, mail contacts, calendar to the new account. But as far as the contacts on Yahoo messenger you will have to add them again. They will probably transfer as part of your Contacts in mail but you would still need to add them to Yahoo Messenger.
