How do you set it up so when your on mesenger your alias is used instead of your e-mail address?

Answer:
on the messenger, click "My Contact Details". change the name or put your name you want to be displayed and leave blanks to the other spaces provided. click "Save and Close". log out from the messenger and restart your PC to activate the changes you made.

when you have messenge open go to help -click on messenger home page - then click on your name at the top where it says hi,______ at the top you can edit your info from there
