I cannot get my photo to show up in a im box in yahoo messenger?

  • I cannot get my display photo to show up in an im box in yahoo messenger. My photo shows up on my end but does not show up on the other peoples im chat box. I currently have messanger 8. I have gone through the preferences, display image steps and i have also gone through these steps below... and nothing works. Can someone please help me??????? 1. Close Yahoo! Messenger. 2. Go to your Windows Desktop and double-click on My Computer. 3. Double-click Local Disk (C:). 4. Double-click Program Files, then double-click Yahoo!, then double-click Messenger, then double-click Cache. Whew! 5. Now, double-click Avatars, and in the Edit menu, click Select All. 6. Right-click on the highlighted list and select Delete. 7. In the box asking "Are you sure...," click Yes. 8. OK, go back one folder to the Cache folder. 9. Double-click Icon, and in the Edit menu, click Select All. 10. Right-click on the highlighted list and select Delete. 11. In the box asking "Are you sure...," click Yes. Close the folder window. 12. Sign in to Yahoo! Messenger and you should be all set!

    There is a Yahoo glitch with photos displaying in Messenger. Hopefully Yahoo are working on it.
