Why do I get "entry point not found" on my messenger?

I receive the message that yahoo messenger exe- entry point not found? What is wrong and how do I correct?

    Sounds like a software hiccup. Un-install Y!M completely by Add/Remove Programs. Now, do an Offline Search, in Drive C, type in Yahoo Messenger, Search.... Delete the Yahoo Folders. Reboot your Computer for a Clean New Install of the Yahoo! Messenger. (Bear in mind that many users of the New Y!M 10 are having problems due to the incompatibility with their OS-Operating Systems). If this be the case, I'm inserting a Safe Valid Link with no annoying ads for you to download a Previous Version of Y!M: http://www.oldversion.com/Yahoo-Messenger.html Choose your preferred Version and download it.
