How do people see a yahoo messenger ID online?
-
A friend of mine has a problem with yahoo messenger. She installed it yesterday and somehow other people who don't even know her add her and send her messages all the times. She is tired of blocking them. I use yahoo messenger too but I never recieve messages from people I don't know. How do they manage to see her ID online? If there a way to change that?

Answer:
there is an option available to deny them....ask her to deny when she recieve any add request and also she can ignore them with the help of <ignore> option in the window who is sending her messeges.

She needs to go to her accout info page and check the box that says never show me as online. That will elmintate a lot. Another helpful tool is a chat cleint, like ytunnel basic; it's a free download,
