How do you get your Avatar to be your Yahoo picture?

How can I get my avatar picture from Yahoo Messenger?

  • I put on a picture from my cellphone as avatar and I had some problems with the memory card and now that picture is history. how may I get it from Yahoo?

Take a screen shot with it open - there is a key to right of your keyboard that says prt scr or Print Screen. It captures whatever is showing on your screen at that time. Paste into Paint, crop, save. Under Start - All Programs - Accessories, select Paint. In Paint, ctrl-V is paste. You can go Edit-select all and drag the picture of your whole screen over (to crop off the top and left hand sides) and then click off the picture to deselect, grab the handles on the right hand and bottom sides and bring them in to crop the rest. When you have it down to just the pic of your avatar, save it. JPG is a good type for online.
