Possibly your Firewall is blocking Yahoo! Messenger from downloading. Turn Firewall Off , then try downloading Y!M, then turn it back on. Turn off Firewall: Start>Control Panel>Windows Firewall (turn it off) If your OS-Operating system is not compatible with the new Yahoo! check firewall setting, unblock yahoo messenger. check administrator's control of the computer. latest versions of YM should be run as administrator. perhaps you are logged in as guest account on your windows log in. log in as administrator and download the program.
