How can I change my yahoo mail name?

How can I change my out going Name in Yahoo mail n Messenger?

  • I wanna change my out going name. I have tried changing it from my Account info. in yahoo mail, BUT it's still apearing the same as before! :(( I also wanna change my appearing nick name in yahoo messenger, n I have trie changing it from prefrence. the funny thing is some see me with my new nick n some still see me with the OLD ONE!!! :-? could u PLEASE HELP? Thank u in advance :)

  • Answer:

    Just click "Messenger" tab above the YM then click "My Profile". A window will open and below the the box , click "create / edit my profile". You can create as many profile you want and / or edit them from time to time. You can also click any name you want to use as default anytime you like. This is applicable to email profile , too. just go to my My Account from any where in yahoo (mail, answers,...) in the top area of the page (you must be sign-in)
