Why can;t I get yahoo messenger?

  • I have downloaded yahoo messenger on my dell computer but it will not appear , i have windows xp , I am not for sure if i have a fire wall up and i do not know it or what this is a recently purchased used computere everything else works fine but iam unable to get yahoo instant messenger plz help me thanks

    Actually the yahoo messenger that you download is just like a download manager. So, download it to a particular folder and then, go tthat folder and double click to run it. It will then start installing and once done, you can launch it. If you have any problem during installation, probably, you need to login as administrator on to your computer because, some contents can't be written to Program Files on your C drive.
