How do i change the nickname i set up on my yahoo messenger that shows up right beside the little picture?

when i was setting yahoo messenger up and added a contact and they asked for nickname i thought they were asking for a nickname for the contact so now when we chat it looks like he is chatting with himself because i was supposed to put a nickname for me now i can't figure out how to change it i tried to follow the instructions i searched but it did not work and i didn't fully understand it i need help pleassseee

Answer:
Click on "Messenger" in the top left hand corner. Click on "My Contact Details". Change your name in the top boxes and change your name/ID under "Nickname". Click on "Save and Close" at the bottom. Best of Luck to You.
