i want to change the way a friends name is displayed in Yahoo Messenger. When I change their name in Contact Details through Messenger, I get this error. "An error occurred while saving the contact information to the server." Does anyone know how I can change my friends display name?

Yahoo server error Try editing the information in your online address book first http://address.yahoo.com/ Edit .. Just been told the server is up and running again. Have another try !!!

Right-click on the person's icon and scroll to View/Edit Contact Details, after making your changes be sure to click Save and Close at the bottom of the page. EDIT - Or you can change it in your Address Book on your Mail page, it doesn't matter as they're interconnected. In fact, it's really the same Address Book.
