Why are the MSN bots not talking?

• Alright, I've just about had enough. Lately, I've been getting lots, and lots of spam from MSN webcam bots, and I'm getting really tired of it. I mean, we're talking at least fifteen of these stupid messages a day. I don't have an MSN name, I don't have any MSN contacts, and I don't have any intention of talking to anyone on MSN. Is there any way at all to simply block any and all users on MSN from contacting me with my Yahoo ID?

  If you're getting PM's from them, go to "Messenger" .. "Preferences" and click on "Ignore List", then check the button that says "Ignore anyone who is not on my messenger list". If you're getting email messages from them, report them as spam, and you may be able to set up a filter to block them. Read this: Can I block junk mail with filters? You can, but this only works if you’re getting multiple messages from the same source. Are you? If so, yes. Set up a filter! Click Options in the upper-right corner of the page and select Mail Options, then click Filters from the list on the left. Put the address you don't want any more mail from into the "From:" field of the Add Filter set-up. Then, in the final field—"Move the message to:"—select Trash. The best way to block random junk mail—spam—arriving in your Inbox from multiple addresses is to use Yahoo! Mail's powerful SpamGuard protection. Make sure it’s activated by clicking Options in the upper-right corner of your Mail page and selecting Mail Options. Click Spam from the list on the left, and look for a check in the box beside “Control SpamGuard". Hope this was helpful :)
