Can you create an auto response in Yahoo Messenger 8?

I don't mean just change my status to "away" but actually when someone IMs me, they get a message right in the window. Gary is away from his desk.

no but you can set your settings and leave your speakers on and you will get a audio noise to let you know someone is online or ringing you.
