Why can't I change the display picture in Windows Live Messenger?

• Why can't I change my display picture in Windows Live Messenger, not Yahoo Messenger ok?This forum doesn't seem to have a section for a question about a competitor, but maybe they'll let me post anyway. I was trying out several different photos in the box to see which one I liked best, and when I made up my mind and tried to change it to that photo I discovered that it would only let me try each photo one time. I can change the display pic to any photo I want, but if I try one to see how it looks and then try to go back to it, Messenger won't let me put one I've already tried back up. Hope that makes sense. So what's up with that? How can i resolve this problem? Thanks.
