How can i see my the display image for my contacts?

i signed onto yahoo im this morning & i could see the display pic my friends have, then i performed a disk clean up which i think screwed up something & NOW all i see is a standard gray box face which is not as cute!!! >:P how can i fix this? please help!!! thank u (p.s. i can see MY display image only now but no one else's)

Answer:
disk clean up has nothing to do on viewing the image of your contact. you should be able to see if they allow anyone or if they share their images to you and to some. just click on the silhouette on the IM window of the person's image.
