How to appear offline while on Xbox.com?

I want to appear offline (temporary, not permanently.) That option is grayed out.?

I want to appear offline (temporary, not permanently.) It's only letting me choose between "appear online" or "appear permanently offline." "Appear offline" is grayed out and I'm not able to select it. Can someone explain this and tell me what I need to do to fix this?

If you want yourself to not be visible (to anyone) while you are still online, you go to 'messenger' - 'my status' - then select 'invisible'. No one can see you then. I think the settings you mention mean you are ALREADY running as 'offline' to an individual person on your list. That's the other way to do it, pick and choose who you are invisible to. The way I mentioned was to be invisible to EVERYONE. Make sense?
