How Can I block my yahoo messenger id?

I want to block yahoo messenger ID so please tell me the process how can i block ID?

    First you need to add the person to your Ignore List... Click Messenger on top left Click Preferences Click Ignore List now, add the person's ID to your Ignore List Click Apply Click OK. *The contacts you ignore will not be able to send messages to you and you will always appear offline to them. They won't know you've decided to ignore them. now, Reboot Yahoo! Messenger for proper changes to occur. ALSO......... You have the Privilege/Option to block the person from sending you e-mails: For Yahoo! Mail --Classic Click Options, then Click Mail Options, now click on Blocked Addresses and Enter the Address you care to Block....Click on "Add Block", now Click "Save" For Using New Yahoo! Mail Click Options, Click Mail Options, Click Spam. now Enter the person's address you want to block. Click on Add, now click "Save Changes" Best of Luck to You..

Open up your yahoo messenger go to preferences look on the Left side for ignore list then add the ID you want to block & hit apply. That's it no more talking to that person until you unblock them.
