How to block the contact in yahoo?

  • there is a one contact in yahoo that i want to block but i don't know how. i already delete him on my contact but he still send me offline messages. please help

    TO BLOCK SOMEONE IN YAHOO MESSENGER: Right click on his name in the Messenger Window and then click on "Delete". Then add him to your "Ignore List" as follows: Click on "Messenger" in the top left hand corner. Click on "Preferences". Click on "Ignore List". Click on "Ignore only the People Below". Add the person in the white box and click on "Add". Click on "Apply" followed by "OK". He will not be able to see you signing in and out but he could use a detector to see if you are online such as this one: http://detectinvisible.com/ TO BLOCK SOMEONE FROM MAIL CHAT On your Email page, on the right hand side, go to "Options" >Click on "More Options">Click on "Spam". Under "Blocked Chat ID's">choose one of the options given. Either "Block chat messages from anyone who is not in my Contacts" or "Block chat messages only from the people listed below:". If you use this option add the person in the box. Click on "Save Changes" at the top.
