How do I make my contact list in IM smaller?

HELP! Brother-in-law lost my IM contact list?

  • My brother-in-law was on-line trying to set up his on IM acct. from my PC. I was out of town & he called & told me that he'd had a major catastrophy. I didn't realize what had taken place until I arrived bk. home. He apparently had successfully set up his own IM acct., but when I signed him off, & signed myself bk. on, my IM contact list had vanished! Please tell me how I can get them bk.? Thanks!     yahoo stores your list so you can't loose it ... make sure the address book tab isn't clicked .. or show only offline friends .. or its just yahoo and will come back .. as I said .. yahoo stores the names

on top of your messenger click on where it says contacts.go down and click on where it says show messenger list. hope this helps
