What Was Little Jimmy's Nickname?

How do I use a new "nickname" for the chat rooms instead of having to use my id or this nickname?

I have never been into a chat room (I know, lame huh?), but I do not want to use my yahoo ID or this nickname. I was trying to create a new nickname to use so any and everyone cannot email or IM me, and I don't want to use my txruby1 nickname either. It makes me sound so old (not that I am trying to appear younger than I am or anything).Can anyone please advise? Thanks so much, hope all your holidays are happy and safe, God bless!
Answer:

Open yahoo messenger, click messenger on the top left, click my profiles, and that is where you can make another name. NOTE: after doing this you will have to close out messenger and then reopen it.
