How do i change my display name when i answer a question?

Change Yahoo Display Name?

• I want to change the way my name appears when i ask/answer a question, but every time i go to change it and press save changes, and then answer/ask a question, it reverts back to the old name! this is incredibly annoying. someone help?

  Click on your Avatar to go to your Answers Page. Click on "Edit my Preferences". Click on "Change Name". Choose either "Use my Profile Nickname" (now called "Pulse") or "Use a nickname just for Answers". Click on submit at the bottom. Please note the warning given by Yahoo about using your Profile Nickname. If this still does not work, try unhiding your Profile, just whilst you change your name as follows: Click on "Edit my Preferences". Under the Privacy Section, TICK the box "Show link to my Profile page". Click on "Preview" at the bottom followed by "OK".
