Is there anyway to retrieve a deleted message on the messenger?

I accidentally deleted the messages in my message archive in yahoo messenger, how can i retrieve it again?

    If it is just the last message session you are interested in, you may be able to as follows: Open the chat page, click on the upper message window and hit F3 from the top row of the keyboard. If this does not work then there is no other way to retrieve messages as they have already been deleted from your Hard Drive.

You can try a free recovery program like 'Recuva' http://www.piriform.com/recuva Items deleted from your hard drive will be overwritten in time so speed is the essence. I suggest you save a message and look at it on your C drive to see what you need to be looking for.
