How do I completely disable Microsoft Outlook?

How can you disable Microsoft Outlook with Yahoo Instant Messenger (IM)??

  • When I use yahoo instant messenger, you can pull up your buddies list, and hold your cursor over their name and it will give you options like Send Instant Message, Call Copmuter, Send SMS Message, and Email. When I click on the email symbol it automatically opens Microsoft Outlook. I do not want to use Microsoft Outlook, I prefer using Yahoo... its what I am familiar with, where do I go to change the settings to have it open my Yahoo mailbox..??

    Set Default Mail: 1. on ur Internet Explorer Click <Tools> from the top of the legend 2. Select <Internet Option> 3. Select <Programe> on the top legend 4. Then select <Yahoo! Mail> from the field of <Email Address>: Done & have a nice day!

The Internet Explorer we use is a product of Microsoft so as the Outlook Express, so we cannot use Yahoo Mail instead of outlook express, but you certainly can use Hotmail instead of Outlook Express for sending mails. Thats what you've gotta do...from your browser goto ~Tools ~Internet Options ~Programs ~E-mail (select Hotmail, you can see there is no option of Yahoo Mail here) ~Click Apply and then OK Done!
