How do I get yahoo messenger on yahoo mail so I CAN GET ONLINE?

    MAIL CHAT Next to your Username on your Email Page you should see a status which probably says "Offline" at the moment. Click on it and change your status to "Available". You should then be signed into Email Chat. Your "Available" Contacts will show on the left hand side with an orange circle next to their name under "Contacts". YAHOO MESSENGER FOR THE WEB There is also Yahoo Messenger for the Web, where no download is needed, but the features are more limited than the full version of Yahoo Messenger.
